Post Matric Scholarship For BC-EBC Under Bihar Scholarship

The post-matric
scholarship is available for the students of Bihar state who belong to Backward
classes and economically backward classes.

Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility
criteria for the post-matric scholarship for backward classes and economically
backward classes are given below:-  

  • The applicant must be a resident of Bihar State.
  • The applicant must be studying in a post-matric class.
  • An Applicant must be studying a recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary course.
  • The applicant must belong to the category of backward class and EBC category.
  • The annual income of the family may not exceed 1.5 lakhs.
  • The applicant must be studying in the state or central accredited institution.
  • If any students have cleared any course with the scholarship then he/she is not entitled to any other equivalent course.
  • Only two male applicants of a family are eligible for the scholarship.
  • If any of the students are already getting scholarships from any other institution, then they are not entitled to this scholarship
  • If any of the candidates who after clearing one stage of education and are studying in the same stage of education in a different subject such as after I.A or B.Com after B.A or M.A in other subjects will not be eligible.

The post-matric
scholarship is available for the students of Bihar state who belong to the ST
and SC category.

Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility
criteria for the post-matric scholarship for ST and SC category are given
below:-    

  • The applicant must be a resident of Bihar State.
  • The applicant must be studying in a post-matric class.
  • An applicant must be studying a recognized course.
  • The applicant must belong to the category of SC or ST category.
  • The annual income of the family may not exceed 2.5 lakhs.
  • Applicant must be studying in the state or central accredited institution.

themselves under the post-matric scholarship for ST and SC category:-

Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojna (Graduation)

The scholarship
scheme is available only for the girl’s candidate in Bihar state. This scheme
will be a very big scheme for the development of girl education in India and
through the scheme Rupees, 25000 will be provided to each candidate on a yearly
basis.

Chief Minister Kanya Intermediate Scheme  

Under the Chief
Minister Intermediate scheme every unmarried girl child of Bihar State will get
a stipend of rupees 10000 on a daily basis.

Under this scheme, the government is going to provide scholarship to the OBC students of class 1 to 10. The scholarship will be given to the students who are studying in the schools accredited and established by the state government.

Chief Minister’s Extremely Backward Class Meritorious Scheme

Under this scheme, students who belong to EBC category will get Rs.10000/- as an award for their brilliant performance in academics. The amount is given to those students who attained 1st division in 10th standard. This scheme main motive is to encourage the students for further education especially for the students of the village area.

Chief Minister Backward Class Meritocracy Scheme

Under this scheme, students who belong to BC category will get Rs.10000/- as an award for their brilliant performance in academics. The amount is given to those students who attained 1st division in 10th standard.
